Adam Zampa’s was the second best figures in Melbourne Stars history

The Melbourne Stars have shown a heroic performance in Sydney. They scored their second win of Big Bash League 2020-21 and shifted on top of the points table. The Melbourne stars had a comforted win over Brisbane Heat on Friday and continued to show their excellent game play on Sydney Thunders on Saturday.

The stars were led by Adam Zampa and Liam Hatcher and under their influence, the team showed a brilliant bowling performance. Adam Zampa earned the Man-of-the-Match title with bowling figures of 4-0-10-2. Adam Zampa is a leg-spinner and has picked up seven wickets in this campaign. With this securing, he is the highest wicket-taker in the Stars’ history, with 60 scalps. This was truly marvelous and Zampa’s career has been a series of hits and misses. In the 2019 World Cup squad, he was given the chance to play 4 matches out of the 10. Zampa’s current victory will keep him the attention needed by the critics so he can get more chance to play.

Adam Zampa has scored 14 wickets for the season. He is currently one of the brightest talents of the country in the spin bowling department. He has also delivered a great performance and control over the ball in ICC T20 World Cup 2016 and played a curcial part for the Australian team.

For the current season, Zampa was signed as a replacement for Australian Pacer Kane Richardson. After displaying a great performance in this season, signing with Indian Premier League franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore for the 13th season of the cash-rich league is pretty obvious.

Hardwork and consistency pays off. This has been proved by Adam Zampa. Rather that criticizing the selections, he took replacing Richardson as a golden opportunity. The social media is playing no less role in spreading the news and promoting his talent.
