Dream11 Super Smash T10 – Central Stags VS Otago Volts | CS VS OV Dream11 Prediction
Central Stags are currently sitting pretty strong at the top of the Super Smash table, although will find themselves leapfrogged by their opponents here should they fall to defeat at McLean Park. The Stags are coming off the back of a humbling 47-run loss at the hands of Canterbury Kings after being bowled out for just 125 chasing 173 and a significantly stronger performance in all departments will be required against the Volts. Otago Volts finally brought to an end their seven-game Super Smash losing streak dating back to last season’s tournament by beating Northern Brave by three wickets in a thriller last Sunday. Neil Broom played a massive hand for the Volts with his 62 breaking the back of their 147-run chase, whilst both Josh Finnie and Michael Rippon shone with the ball.

It’s a very close tussle between Otago and Central Districts in Super Smash. We cannot say you might take up the win from one another.
- George Worker
George Worker has been terrific in Super Smash and is currently leading the list of most runs in the tournament. He’s been very consistent and we expect him to perform well in the next match.
- Jayden Lennox
Jayden Lennox was at the top of his game in the last match against Northern Knights, picking up 2 wickets for 17 runs. He looked a great bowler and can be backed to come up with another good performance.
- Nick Kelly
Nick Kelly was the star of the Otago Volts in the previous season. He hasn’t started the 2020 season well but he’s a class batsman and we expect him to get among the runs pretty soon.
2. Neil Broom
Neil Broom is a top-class T-20 player. He was the leading run-scorer for Otago in the previous edition. He too hasn’t been in the best of a knock but we’ll back him to start performing pretty soon.
Central Stags: George Worker, Greg Hay, Ben Smith, Brad Schmulian, Tom Bruce, Dane Cleaver, Doug Bracewell, Josh Clarkson, Blair Tickner, Jayden Lennox, Raymond Toole
Otago Volts: Hamish Rutherford, Anaru Kitchen, Mitch Renwick, Dale Phillips, Nick Kelly, Angus Mckenzie, Michael Rippon, Max Chu, Matthew Bacon, Michael Rae, Travis Muller
Looking at Otago Volts we see some loopholes in the batting order. They do have few good batsmen but their middle order looks wobbly. We’d like to go with Central Stags as the winner of the match as they’re a more balanced unit.
- Central Stags: 60%
- Otago Volts: 40%
- Our Prediction: Central Stags 2-1 Otago Volts
