The Hockey Association of India, Hockey India has been honored with the prestigious Etienne Glichitch Award this week. Hockey India has worked significantly towards the development of Hockey in India. The award is honored for the contribution of Hockey India towards the growth and development of the Hockey sport in India.
The prestigious award was announced by the governing body of global hockey- International Hockey Federation (FIH) during the major Hockey Invites Conference. The conference took place virtually as a part of the 47th FIH Congress. The conference concluded with the FIH Honorary Awards.
The FIH also confirmed the prestigious award to India in an official statement. The official press release of FIH stated that the governing hockey body of India, Hockey India has been awarded the Etienne Glichitch Award in recognition of its remarkable contribution to the growth and development of the hockey game in India.
The award recognizes the contribution of numerous individuals, organizations and teams for their contribution in the growth and development of Hockey. The Hockey India later thanked the International Hockey Federation (FIH) for awarding them with the prestigious Etienne Glichitch Award.

Theo Ikema Award: Polish Hockey Association, for development projects in hockey leading to 30 new coaches and 3000 new hockey-playing kids

Guust Lathouwers Memorial Trophy: Ivona Makar, Croatia
HRH Sultan Azlan Shah Award: Sharon Williamson, New Zealand
FIH Honorary Awards:
The Honorary Awards were taken place on the opening day of the 47th Hockey Invites Conference by FIH. The Awards were presented and announced by the President of FIH.
