Jasprit Bumrah ruled out from Brisbane Test

The continuous injuries of team India is reached is concerning peak. The recent news confirms that “Jasprit Bumrah ruled out of Brisbane Test with abdominal strain”. Jasprit Bumrah strain during the drawn third Test in Sydney. After the injury, the Indian team management has decided to rule Bumrah out from the 4th to avoid worsening the injury. This is so as keeping in mind about the upcoming four-Test series against England. As per a BCCI source, he is expected to be available against England. However, as of now in regards to his abdominal injury, he would be unable to play. Bumrah can be seen discussing with the medical staff regarding his consent to keep playing which confirmed his ongoing trouble. This was also confirmed by a BCCI source and the discussion with medical staff made it clear that he suffered the injury on the field.

With this injury, India is in a concerning state as the team is now expecting that two-Test old Mohammed Siraj will be leading the Indian attack. Also, Navdeep Saini, Shardul Thakur and T Natarajan would be joining Siraj in the Brisbane Test, starting January 15. The series of injuries also includes other 10 players: Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ishant Sharma, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Umesh Yadav, Hanuma Vihari, Mohammed Shami, Rishabh Pant, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja. These players suffered injuries ion the Australian tour as well. Not to forget Virat Kohli who is recently blessed with a baby girl, would not be able to join the team as well. Also, after the third Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground, both Hanuma Vihari (hamstring tear) and Ravindra Jadeja (broken thumb) are ruled out of the fourth Test starting in Brisbane and the England series in India.
