Top 10 Fastest Fifty in IPL: Cricket has evolved as a unique sport in many different forms since its inception. Earlier, Cricket was played in the longest time-consuming test format that typically lasted out for four to five days. Then the popular ODI format was adopted where each side played 50 overs. The first Cricket World Cup was played in 1975 and since then the game of Cricket developed from White Jersey to Colorful Jersey and from the Red Ball to White Ball.

The period from 2005 saw a tremendous change in Cricket. The short 50-over format was now redefined into the shortest 20-over format. Nicholas Pooran holds the record of 10th fastest fifty in IPL. Pooran smashed his fifty in just 17 balls with 7 sixes and 5 fours. He went on to score a brilliant 77 run knock which helped Punjab to seize a victory over Hyderabad.

Chris Morris is a popular South African T-20 All Rounder who plays for the National Team as well. Morris was the highest bid player at the 2021 IPL Auctions where he was sold to Rajasthan Royals for a whopping 16 crore. The Caribbean powerhouse is the most reputed and brutal T-20 player who is widely recognized for his power-hitting. Pollard scored the 7th fastest fifty in IPL of just 17 balls to help the Mumbai Indians to chase an unbelievable target of 203 runs.

Pollard scored 87 runs which included 8 sixes and 6 fours. His commendable effort was lauded by every cricketer present at the ground.
