Women’s Hockey Team wants to win an Olympic Medal for Covid Warriors: Captain Rani

The Indian’s Women National Hockey Team is all set for the Summer Olympics scheduled in July in Tokyo, Japan. The players are going through drain full session of training, practice, and matches. The Women’s team is training at the Sports Authority of India (SAI) Stadium at Bengaluru and is eager to participate in the Olympics.

Indian Women’s Hockey Team Captain Ritu Rani at a press conference vowed that her women’s team will leave no stone unturned and work hardest to win a historic medal at the Summer Olympics. She further stated that if India succeeds in winning a medal, it will be dedicated to all the frontline workers who risked their lives in the Covid-19 Pandemic.

The selection trials of the probable members of the Women’s National Team will take place this week. The selection trials will take place at the Sports Authority Of India Centre to select a 16-member squad that will leave for Tokyo for the Olympics.

The Women’s National Hockey Team has earned the support of the fans and countrymen in their decision to dedicate a medal towards the Covid Frontline Workers. The world is facing tough challenges from the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic and such healthy gestures will promote humanity and mankind support from the sports fraternity.
